Welcome to FamouseFoodFinder.com.
This site came about for several reasons:
1. We wanted to find and visit restaraunts that had been featured on several television shows.
2. We couldn’t find an easy way to locate these restaraunts. Several resources existed for individual shows, but none had all of the shows we were interested in.
3. The existing resources we did find didn’t implement all of the features we wanted.
Our solution: This website.
We are currently displaying restaraunts that have been featured on:
“Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives”
“Feasting on Asphalt 1″
“Feasting on Asphalt 2″
“The Best Thing I Ever Ate”
“Throwdown with Bobby Flay”
Current Status of the Site: Beta Release. We are opening this site in it’s current state in order to:
1. Help other people who want to find these restaraunts.
2. Get feedback to improve the site.
Our Plans:
1. Fill in any missing data for existing shows
2. Add more shows.
3. Add more functionality to the mapping and searching capabilities.
